Perspective Grid - Conceptual Studio

Fourth Year - 2D3D
This studio is an investigation on conceptual architectural ideas. The main criteria for the class is to go from 3D to 2D and then back to 3D understanding of one given subject. The goal is to create three artifact at the end of the class which consists of one 2D object, one 3D object, and one 2D+ (relief model). The artifacts are not representational which is typical in Architectural studios, but they are the project itself. My conceptual idea conveys  the perspective projection of a grid in a 2D surface and cutting the pieces of boundary in order to make the most 3D version of a 2D drawing. This painting is developed based on a series of photographs that have been cut out. The ownership is given not when the artifact is produced but after when observation leads to an understanding of the project itself. My project is about perception in perspective. I created one painting, one collage, and one 3D model out of Aluminum.
