About Me

DSC_2154.JPG

With a graduation date set for spring 2019, I am truly excited to start my architectural career. I am seeking an entry level position. With six years of experience in architecture school, I was able to develop a wide range of skills, find my passion in design, and work effectively under pressure.

With one year of experience at Wismer Architects, I was able to transfer my architectural skills and knowledge to real world applications. In addition to the general experiences gained from an internship position, I was able to get hands on experience with a professional architect. By working closely with a professional, I observed the complete process for deliverables from start to finish. From the initial design scheme to project completion, I had the opportunity to speak with clients, implement their ideas, and discuss the project with the city’s building and planning department.

I am always enthusiastic to learn new things, and in doing so I learned a wide range of digital and analog skills. Such examples include working with CNC machines using G code and producing different ranges of graphics for representational drawings to capture different moods. Throughout my education, I learned to be flexible about the design process and to be able to work with different people.

My work follows research, experimentation, and the creation of meaningful designs. Through an iterative process, my concepts transform to narratives that become the basis of my projects. I thrive for spatial opportunities and unique moments throughout my designs. I look for creating a design language with architectural techniques for each project.
